During emergencies, timely action can improve the chances of survival. An elderly man was pulled from the frigid Humber River in the Weston neighborhood in Toronto.
The Toronto police stated that they were called to Hickory Tree Road and Lawrence Avenue West after 9 AM for a report of a male in the water.
The firefighters and police managed to pull a man from the water and he was rushed to a healthcare facility via emergency run. Several rounds of CPR were performed on the male who was “not really responsive”.
